Spot P&L / Break-even Calculator
Enter your buy price, sell price, quantity and fee rate to see whether this trade makes or loses money once both-side fees are deducted, and how high the price has to go before you actually break even.
How it's calculated
Gross P&L = (sell price − buy price) × quantity; fees = buy amount × rate + sell amount × rate; net P&L = gross P&L − fees. Break-even price = buy price × (1 + rate) ÷ (1 − rate), i.e. the sell price you need to recoup both the buy and sell fees. The rate defaults to an estimated 0.1%; your actual rate depends on BNB fee discounts and your VIP tier, so go by Binance's fee page.
This tool only helps you work out a single trade that has already happened or that you're assuming — it doesn't predict prices, and it certainly isn't telling you to make the trade. To read the real average cost and unrealized P&L in your own account, see how to read average price and P&L.
Getting the most out of this tool
The formulas: Gross P&L = (sell price − buy price) × quantity; both-side fees = buy amount × rate + sell amount × rate; net P&L = gross P&L − both-side fees; break-even price = buy price × (1 + rate) ÷ (1 − rate), the lowest sell price that recoups both fees.
Where it applies: The rate defaults to an estimated 0.1% and in practice depends on BNB fee discounts and your VIP tier; it works out a trade that has happened or that you assume, and doesn't predict prices. Go by Binance's fee page and your trade history.
Common mistakes: (1) assuming "sell price = buy price" means break-even, ignoring the two fees; (2) trading in and out often while fees quietly eat the profit; (3) treating unrealized gains as realized P&L.
Worked example: Buy 60000, sell 66000, 0.01 coins, rate 0.1%: gross gain roughly 60, both-side fees about 1.26, net gain about 58.7; break-even price about 60120. For ways to trim fees, see maker vs taker orders.
